Holly Taylor is retired from the Wichita Public Schools after teaching 21 years and serving as the vocal music curriculum coach for an additional five years. Taylor has a total of 31 years of music teaching including Ohio and Indiana. Currently, this is her 12th year as adjunct music education professor at Friends University. Holly received the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching (2009) and was awarded the SCKMEA Elementary Vocal Music Teacher of the year for 2011-2012. In 2016, she was awarded the Hall of Fame from the Kansas Music Educators Association. She remains active as an adjudicator and honor choir director in Kansas.
