Kurt Priebe teaches theatre, film and digital video production, speech communication courses, and directs and designs dramatic and music theatre productions during the university theatre season. He has also coached co-curricular forensics and debate collegiate competition. Since 1996, Priebe has served as faculty sponsor and artistic director of the university drama ministry team, “ACTS of FAITH” which presents original inspirational and insightful performance materials to local and regional churches and schools. He also supervises student media internships in the local and regional community. Priebe served as central regional director for Christians-In-Theatre-Arts from 2004-2012. He has presented local, regional and national workshops/clinics on theatre and media; digital moviemaking and video production; scenic and lighting design; pantomime and stage movement; scriptwriting; staging Christian classics; stage makeup and effects; and theological perspectives on the arts at local, regional and national Christian Drama and Worship conferences since 1996. He is active in his local church in men’s ministries, intercessory prayer groups and community outreach.
