Creative Writing Camp

Students will receive hands on instruction from Friends University English professors Dr. Vicki Ronn and Dr. Kassia Waggoner. Students will leave with a writing portfolio of five different forms of poetry and one short story. With permission, students’ work will be published in a special edition of The Mews, Friends Online Literary Magazine. The camp will culminate in a creative writing ceremony in which students will read their work to all family and friends who wish to attend.

Camp dates: June 17-21, 2019
Time: 1-5 p.m.
Cost: $200 per camper — includes T-shirt, snacks and creative writing materials. Some of the proceeds will go toward scholarships for incoming English students.
