Friends to offer new graduate certificate this spring

Friends University will offer a graduate certificate in Cross-cultural Communication and Negotiations this spring. Students will take eight evening classes beginning March 18.

“The purpose of this certificate program is to provide employees with the knowledge and skill set to strengthen their organization’s ability to compete in the global market,” said Dr. Valentina Chappell, professor of business and technology and director of the Global MBA program at Friends University. “Employees will learn how to capitalize on business opportunities around the world.”

The certificate program will be offered in both online or on-campus formats. A bachelor’s degree is required to be enrolled.

Certificate students who wish to learn more about international business can enroll in the Global MBA program and transfer the certificate credit hours into a degree-seeking graduate program.
