Friends University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission. Friends University has been accredited from 1915-27; 1928-39; and 1951-present. In 2005, Friends University was accepted into the Higher Learning Commission’s Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP), a voluntary alternative process for maintaining accreditation by infusing the principles, practices and benefits of continual improvement into the University’s culture.
