If you’re a student graduating from Trinity Academy in Wichita, KS with at least a 3.0 GPA, you are eligible to apply for the Friends’ Trinity Academy Scholarship! The Trinity Academy Scholarship is worth a total of $90,000 over four years through a combination of academic and other institutional aid sources. (Opportunities for state and federal funding are also available.)
Trinity Scholarship
- Students will be selected from applicant pool each year.
- A minimum of one will be awarded each year and there is no set maximum number of awards. Awards will be determined by a combination of application and essay review, along with scholarship availability. Early applications are recommended.
- Trinity Scholarship awards may be combined with other scholarship offers (such as the Honors Program, Latino Leadership, Christian Spiritual Formation, Leon Trammell Business Scholarship, and the Cetner for Enterprise and Community Engagement, among others). Application for all scholarships are strongly encouraged by January 31 for priority consideration.
- Students not selected for the Trinity Academy Scholarship are eligible to receive many other great scholarship opportunities but this scholarship cannot be added on top of Friends athletic or Latino Leadership scholarships. Please contact financial aid for more information.

Requirements
Friends’ Trinity Academy Scholarship
Qualifications to receive the Friends’ Trinity Academy Scholarship include:
- Applicants must be seniors currently enrolled at Trinity Academy
- Applicants must graduate from Trinity Academy
- Applicants must be admitted to Friends University
- Applicants must Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) (exemption for international students)
- Have a 3.0 or above GPA
- Enroll in a minimum of 12 hours at Friends University each semester
- Submit online scholarship application along with a 500-word essay answering the following questions:
- How have your faith, values, and educational experiences at Trinity Academy shaped the person you are today, and how do you hope to continue that growth at Friends University?
- Friends University values service and community engagement. Describe how you have served others and how you hope to continue making a positive impact while at Friends University.
Note: Priority consideration given for applications and FAFSAs that have been received by Jan. 31. Selected winners will be announced on a rolling basis, with initial announcements made beginning February 28.
Complete the Friends University application on our website, complete the FAFSA, answer two essay questions and have your Director of College Counseling or a Trinity Academy teacher complete the reference section of the application.
