Friends University to Present a Jazz Concert with Cyrus Chestnut

The Friends University Jazz Department is proud to present the renowned jazz pianist Cyrus Chestnut, along with vocalist Connaitre Miller in concert on Friday, Oct. 2,, 2015 at 7:30 PM in Sebits Auditorium.

Cyrus Chestnut is one of the foremost jazz pianists on the scene today, drawing on both his gospel and jazz roots to delight audiences throughout the world. He will be joined by Kansas native Connaitre Miller. Miller is the head of jazz vocal studies at Howard University and directs the acclaimed group “Afro Blue”.

The performance will be held in Sebits Auditorium on Friends University Campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. Ticket prices are $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.
