MHCL program listed among 2016’s best 30 MHA Degree Programs

Friends University’s Master of Health Care Leadership (MHCL) degree has been named one of the top 30 Master of Health Care Administration programs in the nation by healthcareadministrator.org.

Friends University’s program is the only Kansas program on “2016’s List of Prestigious MHA Degree Programs,” which was compiled by evaluating the quality of the programs, types of course offered, faculty strengths, awards and overall reputations.

This is the second national ranking the MHCL program has received this year. Earlier this year, onlinecolleges.net ranked Friends University’s online MHCL program No. 22 in the nation: https://friends.edu/news/2016/03/22/online-masters-degree-health-care-leadership-ranks-no-22-nation/.

The Master of Health Care Leadership degree began in 2008 as an on-campus program and an online option was added in 2010. Students come from a variety of health care areas, including allied health, emergency medical services, health care administration, hospital non-nursing, nursing and pharmaceutical.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, health care occupations and industries are expected to have the fastest employment growth and to add the most jobs of any other occupation group between 2014 and 2024.
