Friends University presents the Faculty Brass Quintet Nov. 13

Friends University will present the Faculty Brass Quintet in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium at 3 p.m. Nov. 13, 2016.

The concert will feature, among other works, two major works for Brass Quintet, including Malcolm Arnold’s Quintet and Anthony Plog’s Animal Ditties VII. Asher Isaac will be featured as narrator on the Animal Ditties. This work requires the brass to create sounds that mimic the animals while the narrator reads comical facts about each animal’s unique “personality.”

The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium inside the Riney Fine Arts Center, located at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. Admission is free.
