Open Enrollment Day for adults to take place Aug. 3

Adults wishing to complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree are invited to attend an Open Enrollment Day Thursday, Aug. 3, at the Friends University Wichita campus. This event will help prospective students learn more about how Friends University can help them invest in their education and their future.

The “come and go” event is free and open to the public and will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the College of Adult and Professional Studies/Information Technology Facility at 2100 W. University Ave. Friends University staff from admissions, financial aid, student accounts and advising will be available, so prospective adult students can complete the entire enrollment process in one stop. Application fees will be waived at this event. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP at friends.edu/enroll.

The following special activities will be offered all day:

  • Professional headshots – Come dressed in attire to have a professional headshot taken. You will choose your preferred photo and receive a digital image after the event that you can use for professional purposes at no cost to you.
  • Resume and cover letter reviews and career assessments – Career Services staff will be available to review your resume and cover letter and provide help with career assessments.
  • Drawings for prizes – You may enter a drawing to win prizes, including $250 off your first class, a $100 book voucher, a Friends University sweatshirt and other prizes.
