Wichita, Kan. – Friends University will host a Final Friday reception featuring Friends University alumni. The reception will take place in the Riney Fine Arts Gallery in Riney Fine Arts Center Sept. 29 from 5-7 p.m. The artwork comprises of drawings, paintings, photography and more.
“The art department and its faculty are an essential part of Friends University,” said Lauren Fitzgerald, Friends University alumna. “As an alumna, I cherish the time I spent in the art department and highly value the guidance I received there. The Alumni Art Show allows the opportunity for all of us former art students to flex our creative muscles and show off those skills we acquired while attending Friends.”
The show will be on display through Saturday, Oct. 21. Some of the artwork on display will be for sale. The opening reception is free and open to the public.
