Friends University to present Senior Jazz Night April 6

Wichita, KS – In keeping with the long-held tradition of featuring and honoring graduating seniors, the Friends University Jazz Bands and jazz department will present Senior Jazz Night. The concert will take place Friday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center.

“This will be the last on-campus performance of the school year, and it’s always a very special time to recognize and celebrate the seniors in the program,” said Lisa Hittle, jazz director.

Six seniors will be featured in vocal and instrumental arrangements including Nate Johnson, Connor Siler, Deion Burton, Jacob Carl, Jared Standley and Devin Hatfield.

Tickets for adults are $6; students and seniors are $3. Tickets can be purchased by calling Friends University at 316-295-5677. The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium in Riney Fine Arts Center on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan.
