Friends University Presents Chamber Instrumental Ensembles Nov. 12

Wichita, KS- Friends University’s Chamber Instrumental Ensembles will perform Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Riney Fine Art Center’s Sebits Auditorium.

The program will feature Instrumental Student Chamber Ensembles from the Music Department. This concert includes the Flute Choir, coached by Amy Hoffman, The Brass Quintet and Tuba Quartet, coached by Dr. John Taylor, and the Clarinet Ensemble, coached by Rachelle Goter. The ensembles will play traditional repertoire from the chamber music repertoire.

“The medium of flute choir, which uses alto and bass flute, piccolo, and c flute, is so beautiful to listen to, and we always enjoy the opportunity to share our music with an audience,” Hoffman said.

The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. The performance is free and open to the public.
