Friends University to present Community Orchestra Concert March 26

Wichita, KS- Friends University will present its spring Community Orchestra Concert March 26 at 7:30 p.m.

The concert will feature Friends University students and Miller Competition winners Panya Amphone, Gunnar Marcum and Sarah Durant, all vocal students of voice professor Dr. Matthew Schloneger.

Aidan Hill, Wichita Metropolitan Music Teachers Association concerto winner, will be performing Gershwin’s “Concerto for Piano in F.” He is a piano student of Dr. James Knight, assistant professor of piano.

The performance will take place in Sebits Auditorium, Riney Fine Arts Center, located at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. Tickets are $9 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.
