Friends University Ushers in the Holidays with the Winter Dance Celebration

Wichita, Kan. – Friends University will present a Winter Dance Celebration, a Friends University Ballet performance, ushering in the holiday season. The virtual event will be livestreamed on the Friends University Fine Arts Facebook page, on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m.

“It will be an evening of poetry, improvisation and beloved classical ballet variations, ” said Ballet Director, Andrea Vazquez-Aguirre.

A special feature of the night will be a unique collaboration between the ballet and eEnglish departments. The dance improvisation class created movement scores to seven original winter-themed poems.
