Meet new Friends University Jazz Faculty in concert, August 26

Jazz Faculty Concert

Wichita, Kan. – Friends University Jazz Department will present a live recital Friday, August 26, 2022 at 7:30 p.m. in Sebits Auditorium. The concert will showcase the Friends University Faculty Sextet consisting of jazz program director, Dr. Nick Schroeder (trumpet), Randy Zellers (guitar), John Goering (piano), Renea Abdallah (bass), Andy Slater (drums) and the most recent addition, Matt Koehn (saxophone)

“The jazz faculty at Friends University is a stellar group of musicians and we want to highlight each individuals’ most inspiring qualities,” said Dr. Schroeder.

The performance will take place in Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium on the Friends University campus at 2100 W. University Ave., Wichita, Kan. The performance is free to attend and no tickets are required.
