Friendship Fields is a program associated with Friends University that allows with disabilities to experience college life while also offering Friends University students the opportunity to work with special needs adults. Friends University believes lifelong learning and social interaction are important for everyone.

Friendship Fields Learning Experience (Tuesday/Thursday)
Friendship Fields Learning Experience (FFLE) class will provide students with rich and meaningful learning experiences in a four-year program. The 2023-2024 academic year marks the first year of the program and upon completion, students will have the opportunity to participate in the Friends University commencement.
Students learn Bible verses, receive phonics instruction, make arts and crafts projects and more. Both programs feature current events class, seasonal celebrations and attend all games and other campus events for free.
Friendship Fields Academy (Monday/Wednesday)
Friendship Fields Academy (FFA) is a four-year core and elective curriculum based program that features Math, Science, Language Arts, Fine Arts and Bible Study. At the culmination of four years, students can participate in the University commencement ceremony. Tuition for FFA is $2,250.
Friendship Fields provides special need adults with the unique opportunity to be surrounded by a college community in the heart of campus. It is an exciting time for our students and the university students to work together, get to know each other and learn from one another before moving on to the next chapter in their lives. Tuition for Friendship Fields includes curriculum and supplies, meals in the cafeteria, activity fees, classroom space and necessary items to provide special needs adults with high-quality programming.
The academy curriculum focuses on the four core academic subjects. Students also take elective classes such as painting, household tools and much more.
Students can participate in the following activities:
- Fine Arts events
- Friends yearly formal dance
- Interaction with athletic teams and coaches
- community speakers
- helping with the Friends food pantry
