The Campus and Career Transitions Office provides current students and Friends University alumni with information and resources related to career planning and the job search process. Within career development, there are three service areas that the CCT staff assist students and alumni with: Exploration, Preparation and Employer Relations.

The office offers various career assessments, which can be administered both online and on campus. Assistance with resume writing, interview skills and networking is available. The center also maintains an online job posting system, which allows individuals to access job opportunities that have been posted with our institution.

The CCT Office is located on the lower level of the Casado Campus Center, and the office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment.

CREDENTIAL FILE CONVERSION TO SELF MANAGED FILES
ATTENTION: All Education Alumni

All credential files that are currently stored at Friends University will be sent to a shredding company as of Sept. 1, 2009, unless we are notified that you would like to convert your file to a self managed system. Therefore, if you have a file that you would like to have access to after Sept. 1, 2009, you need to set up a way to self manage those records by contacting the CCT office and requesting to transfer your records.

If you have a closed file, your documents will not be able to be released to you directy. However, you can create an account with Interfolio, fill out the transfer form, and we will send your records to Interfolio. If you have an open file, you can request that your file be sent directly to any address of your choice. If you are not sure which type of file you set up, the CCT staff can look at your records and let you know if you created a closed or open file.
