Friends University provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credit through the dual credit program, saving students both time and money.

Friends University provides high school students the opportunity to earn college credit through the dual credit program, saving students both time and money.

Apply to the dual credit program

How does it work?

Friends University partners with area high schools and hires qualified high school teachers to teach specific courses. Qualified students can enroll in these courses and receive not only high school credit, but college credit as well.  Teachers enter grades for the class on both the high school transcript and the college transcript. Once the student graduates and heads off to college, the college transcript is then requested and sent to the student’s college of choice. If the student receives a passing grade for a class, then typically, he or she will not have to re-take the class again in college. Dual credit is accepted by most (but not all) colleges.

Tuition paid toward Friends University dual credit enrollment can now be applied to your first semester classes at Friends, up to $1,000.
