Apply and be granted admission to Friends University, and file the FAFSA to attend in 2023-24.

Additionally, you may be able to increase the amount of your award by:
Attending an on-campus audition day or schedule an individual meeting with faculty in your area(s) of interest. This can be in person or virtual.
Your Scholarship will be renewed annually if you meet the academic and participatory requirements of your program. Regardless of major, these requirements include the following minimum expectations:
- Ongoing enrollment in assigned performing ensemble(s)
- At least 2 semesters of applied lessons (ongoing if you declare an applied emphasis as a music major)
- Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA
Additional need-based aid may be available; Federal (Pell) and State grants may increase your total financial aid package (Kansas Comprehensive for in-state residents maximum award was $6,000 in 2022 and Pell maximum in 2022 was $6,895).
Changes to your admission status, academic progress, or withdrawal from an academic program may affect renewal considerations. Tuition and fees are not yet finalized for the 2023-24 school year. Please note that the above scholarship amounts are divided evenly and awarded over two semesters each year. Information on undergraduate costs can be found here.
