Black Artist Series

Exploring Black History through Arts & Music

This series exposes students and the Wichita community to the intersectionality of African Americans and the arts. Challenging them to appreciate the cultural differences and revel in the similarities. Through a series of guest lectures, masterclasses and workshops, the Wichita Community will gain an understanding of how African Americans express their art and also be able to walk away with new methods and apply the newfound knowledge to their own craft.
