Chamber Orchestra to present Fall Concert Nov. 10

Friends University’s Chamber Orchestra will present its fall concert Thursday, Nov. 10, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in the Riney Fine Arts Center’s Sebits Auditorium.

The concert will include Antonio Vivaldi’s Bassoon concerto in C major and will feature faculty bassoonist Kimme Whittemore. Student violinist Brandon Lay will perform Pablo de Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen. In addition to works by William Boyce and Max Reger, the orchestra will present the premier of a string work by student composer and Chamber Orchestra violinist Jessika Wolz.
