Friends University named Military Friendly School

Friends University announces it has once again been named as a 2021-2022 Military Friendly School.  This designation provides a comprehensive guide for veterans and their families using data sources from federal agencies and proprietary survey information from participating organizations.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly School designation are evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey completed by the school.  To see Friends University’s page on the Military Friendly site, visit https://www.militaryfriendly.com/friends-university/

Friends University also offers their adult bachelor’s degree programs at $250 per credit hour to military personnel and their spouses.  This matches the amount of military assistance paid per credit hour to eligible members of the Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard.

The discount applies to current, retired and honorably discharged military and Kansas Army and Air National Guard as a thank you for their service.

“It is an honor to once again be included on the Military Friendly Schools list and give our service members and veterans the educational experience they deserve,” said Deb Stockman, vice president of enrollment management. “They have done so much for our country and we are committed to giving our military service members the opportunity to earn an education at a discounted rate, while attending a private, faith-based university.”

Friends University, a Christian University of Quaker heritage, equips students to honor God and serve others by integrating their intellectual, spiritual and professional lives.
