Friends University announces Brie Boulanger as Vice President of Advancement and Marketing

Friends University is pleased to announce the promotion of Brie Boulanger to Vice President of Advancement and Marketing in which she will also serve on the President’s Cabinet.

“The Advancement and Marketing Offices play a pivotal role here at Friends University,” said Amy Bragg Carey, president of Friends University. “Brie has a gift of building relationships with others, and she understands the people, programs and policies needed to fulfill our mission at Friends University. She has demonstrated success with her leadership in her current role as we completed Phase I of the RISE UP Capital Campaign project in under a year. I know she will continue to propel the Advancement and Marketing teams forward into the future.”

The role of the University Advancement and Marketing teams at Friends University is to work closely to keep students and alumni connected to the university before, during and after their time at Friends.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to continue building on the firm foundation of the Friends University mission and further impact the lives of our past, present and future students,” said Brie Boulanger. “Friends is coming up on 125 years strong! My team and I are excited to move forward with new things to come in both our programming and time-honored traditions.”

Boulanger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wichita State University and a Master of Business Administration from Friends University. She began her career at Friends University in 2010 and has held several positions including Recruiter, Director of Alumni Relations, Director of Development and Associate Vice President of Advancement. In her spare time when she is not serving the Friends University community, you will find her attending her children’s sporting events.
