Friends University is pleased to announce the hiring of Danita Mason as the new Senior Director of Human Resources at Friends University. She comes to Friends with a knowledgeable background in human resources management in the not-for-profit sector. Danita’s experience and values align with this position and the University’s mission, and she will be a valuable asset to our faculty and staff when she begins her work on April 4.
Danita Mason holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of General Studies in Business and Sociology, both from Texas Women’s University. She previously held the positions of Human Resources Manager, Payroll, Benefits and Compliance at Envision, Inc.; Human Resources/Payroll Manager at Weigand-Omega Management; Contract Position – Project Administrator at Mid Continent Instruments and Avionics; Audience Development Manager at DB Dance Theatre and was an Assistant Marketing Manager at Macerich Company.
