Joice P Henry

Joice Henry has danced since the age of 5, training and performing all around the world. She fell in love with Musical Theatre while working toward her undergraduate degree and has expanded her repertoire since. Her trainings include Dance Masters of America, studying under legendary artists such as Savion Glover, Lynne Kurdziel Formato, Boston Ballet among many more. Joice has performed all over the world from places such as Disney World, various regional theatres, productions throughout the nation as well as National Tours. Since relocating to Wichita, she has performed and worked closely with the Crown Uptown, Wichita Children’s Theatre & Dance Center, USD259, Crown Arts Collaborative, Wichita University, Ballet Wichita, Arts Partners, Butler Community College, Metropolitan Ballet, and more. Joice prides herself in not only her career as a performer but as a producer as well. Directing and choreographing is just as if not more rewarding than the lights and applause from performing on the stage. Joice hopes to make a difference in the lives and careers of Friends University Theatre and Dance students. Hard work and perseverance pays off in an industry that is all about the journey- so here is to a fantastic journey!
