Niomi Thompson is an adjunct professor who teaches Public Speaking. She has 12 years of experience in education, both at private and public institutions, and has taught a wide variety of students ranging from kindergarten to non-traditional students. Niomi believes that excellent communication skills are not only a fundamental part of academic excellence, but are also critical for the workplace and beyond. She has worked with early college programs, taught business and financial literacy workshops, and is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. Niomi holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Communication from Wichita State University.
