Friends University starts its fall semester classes Aug. 18, but it’s not too late for prospective students to enroll.
Open Enrollment Day will allow both traditional and adult learners seeking a bachelor’s degree to apply, explore financial aid opportunities and enroll in classes. Prospective students can drop by from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 1 in the Davis Administration Building. The event is meant to be a simple, streamlined way to get students started on their road to achieving their educational goals.
Make 2014 the year you begin your journey to accomplishing your education and career goals. Friends University offers bachelor and graduate degree options that begin as early as mid-January for some adult student programs. Evening and online degree programs allow adults to finish work at their own pace, fitting educational pursuits into busy family lives and career commitments. Some programs are offered in Wichita, Topeka, Greater Kansas City and online.

Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management Meet program director Dr. Jim Knight from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25th in the Business and Technology Building – Room 126.
High school students, transfer students and busy adults who are interested in learning more about Friends University’s academic programs are invited to get comfy on the couch and visit friends.edu to chat live with an admissions representative from 7 to 9 p.m. June 26.
Rachel Steiner, program representative for Friends University, said the live chat night was born out of community interest.
“We felt there was a need from our prospective students,” Steiner said. “We wanted to increase awareness of our programs and compel questions from the community.”
