Friends University has earned national rankings for three of its MBA concentrations when compared to other programs in each field. OnlineMasters.com ranked Friends’ concentrations in supply chain management at #7 in the nation and health care leadership at #17 in the nation. MBACentral.org has ranked the cyber security concentration at #19 in the nation. All three concentrations are available through the Professional MBA and the Global MBA.
The MBA with a Supply Chain Management concentration appears at #7 on “The Best Online MBA in Supply Chain Management Programs” list. The program was noted for having “Best Leadership Development.” It was recognized for preparing graduates for leadership careers by developing the skills to oversee logistics departments within their organizations. The program prepares students to manage product and material movement, as well as teaching them how to pilot data, procedures and financial law. The MBA with a Supply Chain Management concentration guides students to build relationships with other professionals in the region. Friends is the only institution in Kansas on the list. The MBA with a Health Care Leadership concentration is listed at #17 in the nation on the “Best Online MBA in Healthcare Management Programs” and was noted for being the “Best in Career Development.” The program effectively prepares students to enter the workforce by challenging students with course work designed by health care professionals. The Health Care Leadership concentration provides well-rounded knowledge to students in areas such as short-term and long-term care, clinic management, hospital management, home health care, and hospice agencies. The MBA with a Cyber Security concentration is listed at #19 in the nation on “The 20 Best Online Cybersecurity MBAs.” The program was noted for being a “flexible option for anyone in all stages of life.” This program includes central MBA courses such as marketing management, managerial accounting, strategic planning, and leader as a change agent. Students who choose the cyber security concentration build their knowledge in fundamentals of cyber security; assurance, compliance and cyber law; audits and controls; and network and systems security administration.
