Friends University hires new assistant professor of business

Friends University is pleased to announce the hiring of Jordan Kieffer as the new assistant professor of business. Kieffer will officially start at Friends in January 2021.  

Kieffer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Wichita State University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas. 

Prior to being hired at Friends University, Kieffer served as a law clerk for Judge Melgren of the U.S. District Court, District of Kansas and also worked in private practice. Her extensive legal experience includes oil and gas litigation, construction litigation, water rights, commercial property tax appeals, employment litigation, general business litigation, estate planning, business advising and appeals. In addition to her law career, Kieffer is a small business owner in the fitness industry with her business Barre Forte Wichita.
