Friends University business division receives accreditation from the ACBSP

Friends University’s award-winning division of business has received accreditation from the Board of Commissioners of the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). The ACBSP accreditation process requires that candidate programs demonstrate teaching excellence, exemplary student learning outcomes and a continuous improvement model.

The ACBSP is a global business education accrediting body and the first organization to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs from associate to doctoral.

“The Friends University academic Division of Business is pleased with the approval of the accreditation from the ACBSP,” said Dr. Jim Long, professor of finance and division chair of business at Friends University. “This is a strong endorsement of the quality of our business programs, the faculty who teach in them and the ability of our students to apply the principals taught in our business programs to career positions.”

The Friends University Division of Business offers bachelor’s degrees in accounting, business admiration, finance, international business and marketing with minors in accounting, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, health care management, human resource management, leadership, management, marketing, operations management and Spanish for international business. Master’s degree programs include the global MBA, professional MBA, management information systems, health care leadership and strategic leadership with concentrations in accounting, change management, finance, human resources, project management, sports administration and supply chain management.
