Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office assists students with every aspect of the financial aid process. Staff members evaluate students’ financial aid files, issue institutional award notices, process loan applications and are available to help students obtain information concerning outside scholarships.

Financial Aid Changes for the 2024-25 School Year

  1. The 2024-2025 FAFSA will be available sometime in December.
  2. The EFC is changing to the SAI (Student Aid Index).
  3. It’s anticipated more students will be eligible for aid; however, some students may see a reduction in aid.
  4. Please talk with financial aid regarding any questions.

Financial Aid Eligibility:

In general, to be eligible for federal financial aid you must:

  • Demonstrate financial need (for most programs)
  • Be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen
  • Have a valid social security number (with the exception of students from the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, or the Republic of Palau)
  • Be registered with Selective Service, if you’re a male (you must register between the ages of 18 and 25)
  • Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student in an eligible degree program
  • Be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible for Direct Loan Program funds
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress
  • Not be in default on a federal student loan and do not owe money on a federal student grant.

  1. Go to www.friends.edu
  2. Hover mouse over “Students”
  3. Select “FalconHub”
  4. Login with username and password
  5. Select “Student Self Service”
  6. Select “Financial Aid”
  7. Select “Award Offer”
  8. Review your student loan offer, then click “Select”
  9. Select “Accept”, “Decline” or “Modify” (Selecting “Modify” gives you the option to accept less than the full-time loan amount)
  10. Select “Submit”
  11. If you choose to accept your federal student loans, please log onto studentaid.gov to complete the Master Promissory Note and Entrance Counseling.
